はじめに / To Begin

音楽や芸術、文化について。ときにはもう少し大きなことについて。

そんなことを、これから少しずつ書いていこうと思っています。

日々の中で考えていることや、ふと浮かんでは消えていく感覚、うまく言葉にならないものや、まとまりきらない思考。

本来であれば、きれいに整理してから外に出すべきなのかもしれないけれど、あえてその手前の状態のまま、このインターネットという広い大海原にぽつぽつと投げ込んでみることにしました。

誰かに読まれることを前提としているわけでもなく、かといって完全に独り言というわけでもない。

どこかに漂って、誰かの目に触れることがあるかもしれないし、ないかもしれない。

そのくらいの距離感で、自分の頭の中を少しずつ外に出していく場所にできたらと思っています。

内容としては、音楽のこと、舞台のこと、文化や社会のこと。ときには、もっと抽象的で、大きな話になることもあるかもしれません。

逆に、どうでもいいようなことや、途中で考えが止まったままのものも、そのまま残していくと思います。

いわばこれは、思考のログのようなものです。

あとから読み返したときに、「ああ、このときこんなことを考えていたんだな」とわかるような記録でもあり、もしかすると、その積み重ねの中から、何かが少しずつ形になっていくのかもしれません。

とはいえ、あまり気負わずに。

毎日、というほどではないにしても、できるだけ気軽に、グダグダと書いていくつもりです。

そんな場所として、ここを使っていきます。

About music, art, and culture. Sometimes, about things a little larger than that.

These are the things I hope to write about here, little by little.

The things I think about from day to day, feelings that appear and then disappear, things I cannot quite put into words, thoughts that have not quite come together.

Perhaps I ought to put them in order before sharing them. But I have decided to try casting them, a few at a time, into this vast ocean called the internet, deliberately leaving them as they are, before they take a tidier shape.

I am not writing on the assumption that someone will read this, but it is not entirely a conversation with myself, either.

These thoughts may drift somewhere and catch someone’s eye. Or they may not.

With that much distance, I hope this can be a place where I gradually let what is in my head out into the world.

As for the subjects: music, the stage, culture, and society. Sometimes the thoughts may become more abstract, or range a little wider.

At other times, I will probably leave things here that seem unimportant, or thoughts that have simply stopped halfway through.

In a way, this is a log of my thoughts.

A record I can look back on and think, “Oh, that is what I was thinking about then.” And perhaps, as these entries accumulate, something may gradually begin to take shape.

Still, I do not want to make too much of it.

Maybe not every day, but I intend to write as casually as I can, rambling along.

That is how I will use this space.
